Thank you for making the Voice of Remanufacturing strong.
The Polish Automotive Group (Polska Grupa Motoryzacyjna, PGM) is a nationwide association and cluster organization that brings together exclusively Polish-owned manufacturers of vehicle parts and components.
PGM currently associates around 100 of the best Polish factories and engineering companies that supply both parts for the production of new vehicles and spare parts for the aftermarket.
Member companies represent a very broad spectrum of competencies and products – including filters, suspension components, brake systems, engine parts, electronics, lighting, seats, lubricants, varnishes, chemicals, plastic and metal elements, and technical fabrics. Notably, 75% of the production is intended for export.
PGM actively supports its members in establishing cooperation with potential business partners (customers and suppliers), fosters collaboration among companies (including in research and development), and organizes joint trade fair stands, foreign business missions, conferences, and workshops.
The organization cooperates with the Polish Research Network ŁUKASIEWICZ, is a member of the European Automotive Clusters Network (EACN), and belongs to the Association of Employers "Polish Clusters".
In 2019, PGM was granted the prestigious status of National Key Cluster by the Polish Ministry of Development – awarded to the most strategic and highest-performing cluster organizations. PGM has also received the Label of Excellence in Cluster Management from the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis.
A growing number of PGM members specialize in the remanufacturing of automotive components such as brake system parts, suspension beams, and internal combustion engine elements. We believe that remanufacturing – where the raw material is an already produced part or vehicle component – is one of the most effective ways to reduce the environmental impact of the automotive industry.
This approach is a practical and industrially mature implementation of the circular economy principles, contributing to a significant reduction of the carbon footprint associated with vehicle production and maintenance. That is why PGM is actively developing its activities in this area and is committed to engaging in the initiatives of organizations such as APRA Europe (www.apraeurope.org).
