Spotlight on Sustainability: Automechanika Frankfurt 2026

As the leading international B2B platform for the automotive industry, Automechanika Frankfurt will once again bring together industry professionals from around the globe from 8 to 12 September 2026. Since 1971, the trade fair is an established meeting point for industry, workshops, and the trade, offering a comprehensive overview of innovations and developments in the global automotive aftermarket. At the last Automechanika Frankfurt in September 2024, 4,132 companies from 80 countries took the opportunity to network with 107,676 trade visitors from 172 countries.

A key topic of the upcoming event is sustainability. Through a variety of formats, the fair will highlight how the industry is transitioning to more climate-friendly processes, products, and business models. One of the highlights is the fourth Remanufacturing Day, organized in cooperation with the renowned Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) as part of the Automechanika Academy. International experts will present the latest trends and solutions in the field of circular economy and remanufacturing—key drivers for conserving resources and reducing CO₂ emissions.

In addition to remanufacturing, the event will also focus on alternative drive systems, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, connectivity, and training and education—all with an eye on a more sustainable future for mobility.
