The Remanufacture Committee of China  (CPRA) and the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) Europe officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

It marks a milestone in both associations’ open cooperation and underlines the importance of remanufacturing for both economies and continents.

Through the MOU, the two associations create a framework for mutual exchange about latest developments in the field of remanufacturing.

In addition, they aligned again a common definition of “Remanufacturing” and professional business practices like e.g. They also intend to participate

mutually in remanufacturing-related events while respecting and actively strengthening the rights of remanufacturers.

“I feel honored representing the European remanufacturing business field while agreeing on that milestone of global alignment. In my eyes, global remanufacturing business is still limited, but now the foundation for future growth is built”, says APRA Europe Chairman Dr. Koehler while highlighting the importance of mutual exchange.

Mr. Xie sees great opportunities to grow together:

“China has formed the world's largest automotive aftermarket, and the market potential of auto parts remanufacturing products in China is huge.
