Thomas Meyer

About Thomas Meyer is Head of Program Management Remanufacturing at Knorr-Bremse in Germany and works in the field of remanufacturing since 2014. At Knorr-Bremse, they are constantly expanding their portfolio of remanufactured products for the EMEA region. Before that, he worked as a Production Engineer at Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey GmbH. He graduated as an Aeronautical Engineer at the University of Applied Sciences in Aachen. “Remanufacturing is a very promising industry, as it perfectly combines the environmental challenges we are facing right now with great business opportunities. Since working in this area I truly understand the importance of circular economy. That’s also why I like being dedicated to APRA: as the global organization for the remanufacturing industry it can drive change – and I want to support that.” We welcome Thomas on board for improving our services and growing our network in the DACH region.

Lorenzo Gaspari

About Lorenzo Gaspari works at CPI, within the BORG Automotive Group as New Business Development Manager. His focus is on the extension of the product range, both with the introduction of new products, both of newer references. He is also taking care of the company university network. Previously he has been a student at Politecnico di Milano and completed his thesis on remanufacturing at the Fraunhofer Institute in Bayreuth, Germany. He states: “For me, remanufacturing, or widely the circular economy, is more than just the sector where I work or a topic I like: it is an industrial paradigm that I believe able to conjugate the environmental benefit and economic activity; two concepts that unfortunately are often seen in antheses. I believe that for the growth of the sector it is important a strong political representation, which can be achieved through an association like APRA, which I’ve joined as Ambassador to sustain and enlarge over time.” We welcome Lorenzo on board for improving our services and growing our network in Italy.

Angel Cruz Abud

About Angel Cruz Abud is Global Marketing Coordinator at Robert Bosch GmbH for the Automotive Aftermarket Division in Göttingen, Germany. Angel is an educated Mechanical Engineer and holds a Master of Business and Administration from ITESM, EGADE Business School, Campus Santa Fe, Mexico City. His motivation to be an APRA Europe Ambassador is to participate actively in European initiatives related to remanufacturing processes and current regulations. In particular he wants to share with us his 15 years’ experience in the industry, working in a global leader manufacturer environment. We welcome Angel on board for improving our services and growing our network in Spain.

Aleksandra Wajs

About Aleksandra Wajs is currently Content Manager responsible for Remanufacturing and Green Aftermarket at ZF Aftermarket. She manages the communication strategy for remanufacturing topics for brands under the ZF roof – ZF, SACHS, TRW and WABCO. Aleksandra joined WABCO in 2017 as part of the Remanufacturing Product Marketing team. She was responsible for the communication and brand strategy of WABCO Reman Solutions. After the merger between WABCO and ZF, she oversaw marketing communications and graphic designer for Independent Aftermarket to then become WABCO Brand Manager and an expert in communication of remanufacturing. Aleksandra believes that a key pillar in the development of remanufacturing is the sharing of knowledge among all stakeholders about its benefits and invaluable impact on sustainability. We welcome her on board for improving our services and growing our network in Poland.
